Welcome to YA on the Shelf, a website designed to bring you reviews of young adult literature that is both current and from years past.

It is curated by an English teacher whose love of reading was cultivated at a young age and continues to be fueled by new materials presented in all genres, but specifically on the young adult shelves, as that is the age group she teaches.

The goal of this website, right now, is simply to inspire the adolescent reader and their parents to pick up a book and immerse themselves in the world of text.
